Why is a COZING-WS11/11H/WS12/13 650nm wavelength laser chosen?

Aug. 06, 2025

Answer: The blood fluorescence excited by the laser mainly falls within the 600–670nm range, with the 630–650nm spectrum at its peak. According to the molecular fluorescence mechanism, using a 630–650nm laser to excite blood from its ground state to an excited state achieves the best therapeutic effect.

From the fluorescence spectrum of chemical substances, the 630–650nm fluorescence is characteristic of hematoporphyrin derivatives. One of the primary functions of porphyrins is the synthesis of heme, which plays a crucial role in oxygen transport in the body. When laser irradiates the blood, porphyrin substances undergo an energy state change (from ground state to excited state), increasing their chemical activity, thereby enhancing the activity of heme and improving blood oxygen-carrying capacity. Years of clinical medical practice have proven that using a 650nm semiconductor laser as the light source for blood irradiation yields the best therapeutic results.
