The COZING-T01B Multi-functional Semiconductor Laser Treatment Instrument is a low-intensity semiconductor laser therapeutic apparatus developed by Wuhan Cozing Medical Devices Co., Ltd. It is a certified Class II medical apparatus that has passed ISO9001 and ISO13485 medical apparatus certificates, and all of its products have been featured with painless, noninvasive and precise effects. The product has passed clinical tests separately in Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology and Union Hospital.
1. What Makes It Different: "Laser Acupuncture"
The technology of this apparatus overcomes the defects of traditional large expensive products. It is easy to operate, convenient and safe. It combines LLLT (low level laser therapy) technology with Chinese acupuncture theory, creatively putting forward "laser acupuncture" instead of the traditional acupuncture needle — relieving the pain of patients, increasing the safety of treatment and greatly improving the treatment effect.
Range of application: pain relief, neck pain, back pain, anti-inflammation, arthritis, rheumatism, headache, dentalgia, soft tissue wound, trauma, sport injury, improving blood circulation, and fracture healing.
2. How It Works
Low level laser does not cause irreversible damage to the target tissue; it only triggers a series of physiological and biochemical changes. The product provides two laser irradiation methods:
Probe A: one laser shower head with 200mW power and 808nm wavelength.
Probe B: a laser probe with 5mW power and 650nm wavelength.
The laser in the above wavelengths is harmless to body tissue cells, but it can penetrate skin, fat, muscle and blood vessel walls. About 10% of laser energy will be absorbed by blood during irradiation. Clinical tests indicate that low level laser is a powerful biological stimulation source which can improve blood circulation and nerve functions, enhance anti-disease ability, and accelerate regeneration of cells, hair growth, cure of wounds and tissue recovery.
Its main biological effects include:
Soft tissue: accelerates the cure process of wounds by stimulating granulation tissue and reepithelialization; regeneration of epithelium and fibroblast is accelerated, and the DNA content in these cells increases.
Ulceration healing: accelerates the cure process of ulceration and regeneration of epidermis, stimulates collagen combining and regeneration of capillary vessels, and increases bioactive enzymes and immunoglobulin.
Fracture healing: accelerates regeneration of bone and the porotic process, improves the functions of osteoplast, accelerates callus metabolism, and promotes the absorption of haematoma.
Diminishing inflammation and relieving pain: diminishes infective inflammation (e.g. caused by staphylococci), stimulates the defensive quality of the body, increases RNA and glycogen in skin and muscle, and helps relieve pain.
Immunity enhancement: enhances the body immunity and can activate relative immunologically competent cells.
Regeneration of nerve and muscle fiber: accelerates the regeneration of nerves and muscle fibers around the wounds.

4. Key Functions
Countdown function — the time of treatment can be changed.
Both probes A and B have continuous output and pulse output options; pulse is generally used for irradiating acupuncture points.
The probes can either work alone or work simultaneously.
The device offers seven preset treatment programs on the touch screen: neck and shoulders, rotator cuff, osteoarthritis, muscle strains, lumbar arthrosis, hip bursitis and plantar fasciitis.
5. How to Operate
Preparation:
Check the power supply of the instrument to confirm it is within the specified scope, then plug one end of the power cord into the power input jack on the back side of the host.
Choose the probe according to treatment needs: probe A is used for acupuncture point radiation treatment of small infected parts; probe B is used to make direct radiation treatment of extensive infected/injured parts. Insert the power cord plugs of A and B probes into the corresponding output ports (the power ports of A and B probes may not be conversely connected).
Use the safety spoon (key) to turn on the power switch to boot.
Operation steps:
Short press the SKIN COLOR/LIGHT button to choose LIGHT or DARK, matching the power intensity to different skin.
Short press one of the seven buttons to choose the infected part for radiation treatment.
Short press the OUTPUT A button to choose Probe A, Probe B, or both probes working together.
Place the probes on the parts or acupuncture points in need of treatment.
Short press START to start the treatment.
If a suspension is needed during treatment, short press PAUSE, and short press START again after a pause to continue.
After the end of treatment, use the safety key to switch off the power, and unplug the power cord after the treatment probe is in place.
6. Important Safety Cautions
No probe is allowed to directly aim at the eyes.
The laser energy has a cumulative effect. The daily accumulative time of treatment (any probe) shall not exceed 40 minutes. The therapy shall be stopped when clinical symptoms are improved to prevent fatigue effect to laser.
The probes and cords shall be handled with care.
When used for children, the treatment shall be carried out with instructions of adults. Laser-allergic individuals should not use the product.
The elderly or weak individuals shall select short time mode (5 minutes) at the beginning of the treatment and gradually increase the time as they adapt.
The product is forbidden for pacemaker users since it may interfere with the functions of the pacemaker.
Patients with cardio-cerebral vascular diseases should not reduce or stop the dosages at the initial treatment stage by this product, unless under the doctor's advice when the condition is obviously improved.
Please only use the power adapter provided by the manufacturer or its authorized agents.
Contraindications: pregnancy, cancer and hemorrhagic diseases are prohibited from using this product.
7. Maintenance and Service Life
Check the power cord and probe cables regularly and replace the damaged or broken ones immediately.
The service life of the COZING-T01B is 8 years.
Clean the housing with alcohol cotton balls after the product is switched off; clean probes with dry cotton balls when the apparatus is turned off — never use alcohol cotton to wipe the laser lens.
All laser probes (A, B) shall be protected from water, dust and collision.
If the apparatus was stored for more than 6 months, it should be taken out from the box and energized for 4 hours before being placed back into storage.
The scrapped product shall be disposed of according to local laws and regulations of the user, and must not be discarded with household waste.
